The City of Melbourne and Melbourne Library Service are proud to announce the inaugural
Lord Mayors Creative Writing Awards, marking the City of Melbourne's new status as the second UNESCO City of Literature.

The City of Melbourne has three public libraries - City Library, East Melbourne Library and North Melbourne Library.
There is also a library access point with pick up and drop off facilities at Docklands Hub and an internet access point at Cafe Domain in South Yarra.

The libraries offer a wide range of facilities, services and resources, including books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, journals and newspapers in a range of languages as well as electronic publications. Library membership is free and open to anyone.
