'Nepean Terrace' is an early and fine example of terrace architecture and is notable for its association with prominent businessman and merchants. Constructed of brick with render enrichments and timber to the single storey verandah, which has distinctive flat arches and carved spandrels. The balustrated parapet with central cartouche, party walls and architraves to openings are all finely detailed. The terrace is an outstanding part of the East Melbourne precinct.
