O'Donoghue, Lowitja, 1932-2005
Lowitja O'Donoghue was taken from her mother at the age of two. She was placed in Colebrook Home, she left there at age 16, when the Matron told her that she would never make anything of her life. She was the head of ATSIC in the 1990s, and works as an advocate and ambassador for her people.
