Short loops of Brakhage's hand-scratched and painted films strips were re-photographed, illuminated and edited by Phil Solomon. Each running from 2-5 seconds, the loops were repeated in various configurations until appropriate sequences were built to invoke a seasonal cycle, beginning in "summer"...
