Heaton House was built by John Greenwood (1831-1915), a British builder who emigrated to Australia in 1856. Building completion date unknown. The balcony has twin fin walls with cast iron lacework and lattices as well as a parapet and large chimney. The side fence is visibly misaligned and in a state of disrepair. Both the house and fence still exist today, fully restored to it's original grand glory.
