It integrates the colonial occupation and regulation of the river, and how the natural landscape that sustained Wurundjeri peoples for generations was altered, particularly by people like John Coode. In Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung language, Birrarung means river of mists. The booklet includes, essays, documents, photographs and maps.
