Period: EdwardianDate: c.1918History: The Melbourne Church of England Girls' Grammar School Tennis Pavilion was constructed for the school in 1918 at a cost of £470.Description: ...a double-storey red brick Edwardian pavilion, which also acts as a retaining wall to the north side of the school's tennis courts. Built to the property line the walls are of red brick penetrated by multi-paned timber-framed windows.Significance: ...of local aesthetic interest. Substantially intact, the building is an interesting non-residential element in the streetscape, relating to the other Edwardian buildings on the school grounds.
