Image provided by Tom McCarthy of Michigan. John Cody and his wife, born Mary Lawrence. John was born in 1835 in Mullinahone, County Tipperary. He died in 1916. Mary was also Irish and died in 1931. The family lived in Hawke Street West Melbourne in the 1890s and ran a boarding house in King Street and later in Lonsdale Street.
