Image held by North Melbourne Library. A'Beckett Street between William Street and Queen Street. This building was the Gill Memorial Home, run by the Salvation Army for homeless men. The Salvation Army took over this former factory in the 1920s. The building still exists although it is no longer used by the Salvation Army as a shelter.
