Cattle production reached its peak in 1952, recovering after slow post war years. A more 'humane" (sic) method of stunning cattle improved operations for the men. There was increase in revenue from the Dessicator, improving the production of by-products. A large amount of extra equipment was being provided at the Dessicator to improve production
