General notes:
Grading as at 1991 : Upgraded E to DPeriod : Mid-VictorianA simple, freestanding timber cottage with gable roof and unadorned verandah. Probably constructed in the late nineteenth century. The fenestration is intact, with typical double hung windows flanking the central front door. The building has some alterations, notably overcladding to weatherboards, probable verandah post and verandah detailing replacement, and a new front fence. However, the form and important details remain. The lattice side fence may be early. The roof form, setback, scale and detailing are consistent with that for the street.
