Notes from the invitation to the Exhibition. From an exhibition of studies completed in the Autumn of 1988 in the North and West Melbourne area. Painted direct from life, they are in response to the emotive and physical challenges of living and working in this area. John Hunt was the winner of the 1988 Rotary Travel Grant. The exhibition was at the Cato Gallery of the Victorian Artists Society 21 May - 3 June 1988.
