General notes:
Image held by North Melbourne Library. Courtesy of Melbourne Tram Museum Inc. Homebush Hotel in Abbotsford Street (corner of Canning Street) taken when the cable tram track was being converted to electric trams about August 1935. This was before the hotel facade was modernised in an Art Deco style. The hotel has since been demolished for apartments but almost all other buildings seen are still extant. The building with the Robur tea sign is currently number 397 Abbotsford Street.
