General notes:
Grading as at 1999: Upgraded from E to CPeriod: Edwardian/Federation, constructed c 1914This house treet is a double fronted, single storey Edwardian Queen Anne style residence of red brick construction and asymmetrical plan. The house has a hipped and gabled slate roof which encompasses a return verandah supported on turned timber posts. Part of the original timber fretwork remains intact. The projecting bay to the street contains a boxed casement window, while the recessed façade contains the main entrance with side and fanlights and a three light timber framed casement window incorporating fanlights. It is of aesthetic and historic importance, being a typical example of the Edwardian Queen Anne style, unusual in North Melbourne and inner suburban area generally. The house is relatively intact, retaining its original face brickwork, window and door openings and part of the original verandah.
