Image held by North Melbourne Library. Wallace House.Front façade of Wallace House at 6 Alfred St, North Melbourne. A parapet and two large chimneys adorn the top of the building with cast iron lacework encumbering the first floor balcony. Also visible are jalousie windows, composed of parallel glass and set in a frame. Corner lattices and lacework can be seen over the front veranda with a small flower bed in the front garden. Two classic federation gates are visible at the the left and right entrances of the address. Inscription on reverse side reads; 6 Alfred St N.M.
