General notes:
Type/Original use: House/Rooming HouseStyle:Period: Inter WarConstruction date: 1916Materials: rough cast and brickNotable features/Significance: An unusual two storey house, symmetrical about the centre with a projecting central porch and balcony, and flanking bay windows to ground floor. The composition appears more similar to flat design rather than a single house. Over the entrance porch arch the render is embellished with gumleaf motifs and a baroque bracket to the bowed balcony above. One original fence post remains.Architect:Builder: for Rupert S AlstonOccupier/Owner 1920, 1926, 1946, 1956: Rupert S Alston1982: Andrew Grimwade ToorakAlterations & additions: 1924
