Image held by North Melbourne Library. TAA Electra at Melbourne Airport (Essendon). This aircraft was named John Eyre. Lockheed L-188 Electra aircraft were operated by TAA from 1959-1971. TAA was Trans Australia Airlines, operating from 1946 to 1994, when taken over by QANTAS.
