He owned it until after 1895, but by that date he had leased it to Mrs Charity Austin.A stuccoed brick, one-storey house set on a double-fronted asymmetrical plan with Italianate details, a slated hipped roof, barrel-top chimneys and a cast-iron verandah and fence. The design is reputedly by Alfred Dunn, the prolific architect of Wesleyan Church buildings.Integrity - Generally original, except for the glazing in the bay.Streets cape - Part of a residential precinctArchitecturally, an unusual form for the area, in generally original condition and possessing many of the decorative elements available for use by an architect, also part of a streetscape: of regional importance.
