General notes:
Grading as at 1999: Upgraded from E to D.Period: Early/Mid VictorianA single-storey, double-fronted Victorian terrace house which forms a pair with the adjacent No. 68. In the 1880s, they were known as Rosebank Cottages. The walls are of rendered masonry gabled corrugated galvanised steel roof. The front elevation has a central door flanked by single timber-framed double-hung sash windows. The plain skillion-roofed verandah runs between wing walls. It is of local historical and aesthetic interest, representative of the modest workers' dwellings which were erected in large numbers in North and West Melbourne in the Victorian period. Aesthetically, the building is a reasonably intact example of its type and style and contributes to the streetscape.
