By 1920, the resident was noted as Alfred Clarke..Description:The house at 44 Bayswater Road is a single-storey weatherboard Edwardian villa with a hipped and gabled corrugated galvanised steel penetrated by a brick chimney with rendered capping and terracotta pots. The verandah roof is continuous with the main roof, and has timber posts with cast iron decoration. There is a tripartite timber-framed casement window with a timber-framed hood in the projecting bay. The house is representative of the villas which were erected in Kensington during the early years of the twentieth century.
