Grading as at 1985 : CPeriod : Early Victorian, 1865Grantee : R Hampson 1865An engineer, Robert Hampson had these three houses built in 1865, two of which he leased, the other being his residence until they were sold in 1874. The new owner Thomas Easton lived in 169 Adderley Street and leased the other two house over the next 20 years or so to people such as Richard Boxall, Alexander Galvin and Ellen Callender. R. Hampson was the grantee.A transverse-gable roofed row of verandahed and double-fronted stucco finished houses, formerly with unusual, Gothic flavoured timber verandah detailing in the form of tracery-like brackets.
