A narrow pedestrian walkway allows access to Lonsdale Street from the laneway. In 1895, it contained Alcock's Timber Yard and Alcock's manufactory, makers of billiard tables. The 1895 Melbourne Metropolitan Board of Works maps for the area also document the 'remains of a brick house' in the lane. In 2008, Corrs Lane contained the mix of business typical of Chinatown's lanes. It bordered the Saville-on-Russell hotel and a car park, as well as the FAD art gallery and bar and a Japanese restaurant.EDWINA BYRNEREFERENCESSands & McDougall’s commercial and general Melbourne directory, Sands & McDougall, Melbourne, 1895.
