Image held by North Melbourne Library. It is one from the series National Trust Files. 91 Courtney Street. This house has been renovated by adding an other storey, but keeping the same façade. The man in the image is Alfred Owen Cooney, known as Barfie. He bought this house in the 1950s, and worked at the SEC. He never married.The second storey was added by architect was Peter Jensen and later additions by Giles Lawson.
