General notes:
Image held by North Melbourne Library. Extension to sheds. Contract dated 14 August 1905. The Queen Victoria Market was officially opened on 24 August 1878. Shortly after this time it was realised that more space was required to accommodate stalls. In 1905 adjoining land became vacant and Sheds A and B were extended to Peel Street. Each structural detail is delineated; from the type of bolts to be used to the bluestone foundations to the posts supporting the corrugated iron roofs.
