General notes:
Grading as at 2002 : DPeriod : EdwardianA single storey shop probably from the early twentieth century. The sinuous parapet with bracketed abutments is typical for commercial buildings in the Edwardian style. This building is unusual for the survival of the original timber shop front. There are some alterations. The stallboard cover has been removed, the street verandah has also been lost, the door has been altered and the brickwork has been painted. This building was individually significant for the survival of the façade including the shopfront. It provided appropriate context for its neighbour at 631 and contributed to the heritage values of Queensberry Street. However, it has since been substantially altered.
