General notes:
Style Period: Victorian, c.1873Notable Features/Significance: 1. This building is of local aesthetic and historical interest. It is typical of nineteenth century terrace house development, which predominates in Carlton. Relatively intact and particularly austere, the building is an important element in the largely nineteenth century streetscape. 2. History: the building was originally no. 158. In 1874, it was a store occupied by Mrs Gardener.
