Photographer notations on slide: Harold Luxton B107.Description: a number of well turned out people stand in a garden area, gathered around a sundial. Fifth on the left is Harold Luxton who was Lord Mayor of Melbourne 1928-1931 and a member of the Legislative Assembly from 1930-1935. The year is unknown. One of the party holds a shield which may or may not be the Garden Week Shield. The Garden Week Shield was awarded annually to the Ideal Garden Suburb,with the decision based on the aggregate number of points gained by thegardens in each municipality.
