General notes:
Grading as at 1991: DPeriod : Early Victorian, construction date, 1866A double-storey brick building with a hipped corrugated galvanised steel roof. The facade has been cement rendered at ground floor level and features recent large fixed pane windows and a glass door. The first floor level is now unpainted brick, having had previous render removed, and has three evenly spaced single-pane non-original fixed windows. The chimney is constructed of brick. It is of historic interest, having been erected in 1866 as a corn store for a local produce merchant. It demonstrates an early phase of commercial development in the area. Also of interest is the fact that the building was continuously owned by John Lambrick, and later by his estate, for over forty years. Aesthetically it retains its overall shop form
