This building was constructed as the Wing Ching Cafe, 1891-1898, Quon Che On Cookshop , 1899-1915, Chung Wah Cookshop then Cafe 1916 -1974+. The Chung Wah Society had its headquarters at 14-16 Heffernan Lane - information supplied by Barbara Nichol.
