General notes:
Grading as at 1999: Upgraded fro E to DPeriod: Mid Victorian, constructed c. 1887This house is a double-storey, nineteenth century residence of brick construction with a rendered and scrolled parapet concealing the roof. The house has a double-storey verandah with cast iron lacework frieze and balustrade panels supported on columns. The verandah is terminated by wing walls with decorative mouldings. The ground floor façade has a tripartite timber-framed double-hung sash window and side and fanlight windows to the main entrance door. It is of local aesthetic and historical interest, being representative of the type of residential development occurring in North Melbourne during the nineteenth century boom period. The house is relatively intact and makes a considerable contribution to the streetscape.
