General notes:
Grading as at 2002 : upgraded from E to DPeriod : Late VictorianA pair of simple, brick row houses, typical of the small-scale workers built in the nineteenth century in North Melbourne. This pair is built after 1890. The fenestration is intact, with typical double hung window and panelled front door. Number 10 (on the right) retains the tuck-pointed brickwork. This block of Harker Street has a level 2 streetscape and has a high level of integrity. The majority of buildings on both side of the street are of similar scale and period to this site. The pair at 10-12 Harker Street is part of a single-storey streetscape from number 2 to number 18.
