A classic 1960 FB Holden (with possibly customised two-tone finish) can be seen heading left down Queensbury St. A W2 class tram can be seen at the tram stop. A relative number of tramway electric cables can be seen draping the right of the scene like an industrial spiderweb, as locals go about their day. A row of public telephone boxes can be seen on the Queensbury St side of the Town Hall. The clock tower declares it to be 3:55 pm.The site was originally the town Courthouse, and building of the Town hall was completed in early 1876. The cost was £12,000 (approx. *$2,116,000.00 in 2020).The building was designed by *architect Mr. George R. Johnson, and the contractor was Mr. David Parry. The building was renamed North Melbourne Town Hall in August, 1887 when the town was renamed North Melbourne.*(Source: https://www.measuringworth.com/calculators/australiacompare/relativevalue.php).*(Source: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/60447008).*(Source: https://citycollection.melbourne.vic.gov.au/court-hotham-north-melbourne-town-hall/).
