Ltd., by Mr. Wade, P.M., in the Fourth Court yesterday. The magistrate said he would make an order for the issue of a warrant of ejectment to be executed within 30 days from the date of warrant, but he would not sign the warrant until January. Raymond Bruce McKenzie of Glen Iris-road, Glen Iris, Melbourne .manager of Herbert Small Pty. Ltd., said his firm bought Hesma House In 1939 for extensions to its business. The third and fourth floors were used for mechanical, printing and staff purposes, and an associated company used the basement as a laboratory. The ground floor was required as a theatrette for demonstrations in visual education, equipment demonstrations and stock purposes."Direct Hardship”Mr. A. H. Mann, for the association, said loss of the rooms would inflict a great deal of direct hardship on it. The association did a great deal for the public and for education. " Other bodies, such as the Shakespeare Society and, the Dickens Fellowship, used the premises, which were also used for teaching dramatic art, music and kindred subjects. The magistrate said both parties were performing an essential service to the community in their respective spheres. He could not distinguish between the hardship that would be caused, apart from the financial aspect. Herbert Small Pty. Ltd. was the owner of the building, and he would make an order in its favour.1949PHOTOORAPHY. - Junior Girls to learn developing and printing required for our modern city workrooms.
