Before 1897 his tenants included Arthur Glassbow, Mrs. Sharp and Henry Oakey.DescriptionA two-storey stuccoed brick row house pair with cast-iron verandahs of two levels, iron fences and scrolled, arched-shape parapet entablatures with swags and the house names thereon. Ornament is relatively austere for the late construction date. West Melbourne Heritage ReviewWhat is significant?The local manager of the major auctioneering business of Messrs G. D. Langridge and Sons, James R. Allen, had these houses built as an investment in 1887.
