From Melbourne Metropolitan Planning Scheme, published 1954. Wreckyn Street, John Buncle and Commando Ltd. The wooden houses to the right were owned by the Executors of Clement Davidson at the time. Mr Davidson bought John Buncle and Sons after John Buncle's death. This image was highlighting how factories were replacing old housing. The two single storey houses to the left of Vale Street (the street in the middle) were demolished not long after
