The following year the house was occupied by Richard Young and by 1915, the resident was recorded as Walter Foster..Description:The house at 75 Bayswater Road is a symmetrical single storey double fronted Edwardian house with a hipped corrugated galvanised steel roof, and is clad in weatherboard. Timber framed double hung sashes flank the central entrance door, which has a fanlight, now infilled. The verandah, not original, is supported on decorative steel posts. The rendered brick chimneys have moulded caps. There is a low timber paling front fence..Significance:The house at 75 Bayswater Road, Kensington, is of local aesthetic and historic interest. The house is representative of the type of villas which were erected in Kensington during the early decades of the twentieth century. Despite alterations, the scale and form of the house is reinforced by the nature of the surrounding streetscape. The house is a late example of a Victorian-style villa.
