Period: Inter-WarDate: 1920-21Description/Significance: The Former Golden factory is a double-storey brick building with a gabled corrugated iron roof concealed by a stepped parapet. The symmetrical facade is divided into three bays by brick piers. : Erected as a shoe factory in 1920, the building demonstrates as early phase of industrial development in a part of Carlton that is otherwise largely residential.
