Item held by North Melbourne Library. This is the former Ekmans drapery store, later a coffee palace and a guest house, on the corner of Victoria and Roden Streets. This image was taken c 1972. Around this time the building is quite derelict and scheduled to be demolished but was burnt down. The site is now a car park.
