General notes:
Image held by North Melbourne Library. This is an old shop, at the time of the photograph it was a market/drycleaners. It was also an opportunity shop. Although still extant, the building no longer has a verandah and is now a dwelling and, at times, a cafe. Note the window in the top floor refers to horses and cattle. The building is located at 28 Melrose Street, on the corner of Erskine Street.
