It was first listed in the Sands & McDougall directory in 1913, when it was occupied by John Holloway, who remained there until at least 1915..Description:The house at 7 Epsom Road is a single-storey, block-fronted Edwardian villa with a hipped and gabled corrugated galvanised steel roof. L-shaped in plan, the house has a projecting gabled bay with a half-timbered roughcast rendered gable end, carved timber bargeboards and bracketed eaves. The adjacent bullnose profile verandah has turned timber posts and cast iron lacework. Alterations include the replacement of the original windows, probably double-hung sashes, the painting of the two brick chimneys and the construction of a steel front fence..Significance:The house at 7 Epsom Road, Kensington, is of local historical and aesthetic interest. It is a reasonably intact exampled of the type of Edwardian villas which were built in this part of Kensington in the 1910s, and it relates visually to its neighbours at Nos. 17, 19 and 21 Epsom Road. It represents the major, formative phase of development of Kensington west of Epsom Road.
