General notes:
Grading as at 1999: Upgraded from E to DPeriod: Early Victorian, construction date c 1864-1866This house is a small attached single-storey residence, of rendered masonry construction with a ruled ashlar finish, and gabled corrugated galvanised steel roof. A skillion-roofed verandah, not original, extends across the façade between rendered wing walls. It has a single rendered chimney, penetrating the roof along the side boundary wall. It is of aesthetic and local historic interest, being a typical example of the simple workers housing that proliferated in the inner suburbs in the nineteenth century. Apparently erected in 1864-1866, this house demonstrates a particularly early phase of residential settlement in the area.
