General notes:
Type/Original use: ResidenceStyle/Period: VictorianConstruction date: 1901Materials: ruled renderNotable features/Significance: A substantial pair of terrace houses designed to appear as one large single dwelling. The walls are finished with ruled render and embellished with a moulded string course and architrave mouldings. The front fence is original and like others in the street is required to be a retaining wall in addition to a separation from the public.A verandah wing wall may have existed between the two houses. It is not known whether the details of the existing verandah match the original. The verandah posts are all new however the iron may be part of the original construction. A good example of late Victorian decoration.Architect: J F NevilleBuilder: G Braid 59 Williams Road Windsor for Isaac FoulshamOccupier/Owner 1905: Robert Shunks/Isaac Foulsham, Jane Johnston1946: various/HD McDermott (brick flats)1966: various/Cecilia Lunett (brick flats)1982: G & VJ Langford (brick house)1982: Bruce Henderson (brick house)Restoration 1981
