Construction Date: 1877Architect: Crouch & WilsonHistoric Summary: Sold at Government Land Sales 18.11.1852 to John Dight for 800 pounds. The site was bought for the East Melbourne Synagogue in 1873 for 2,261 pounds. Foundation stone was laid 20.3.1877 by Henri J. Hart, brother-in-law of the Rabbi, Moses Rintel.
