A crew of seasoned criminals, armed with high-powered weapons and led by the notorious Nam, pull off another violent armoured car heist in broad daylight in the middle of Hong Kong. Leaving a merciless trail of carnage in their wake, they repeatedly manage to evade capture, bringing down shame and humiliation on the police force. Hardboiled senior police inspector Lui (Andy Lau) is hot on the trails of Nam and his tight crew - determined to put an end to this madness. With the stakes at their highest, he discovers he will have to cross the line between good and evil in order to find justice.
