DVDs
Set in the 1920's against a stunning river landscape that sweeps through towering cliffs and vast tracts of red gums and willows. Life on the Hofner farm is a struggle, an absent father and the threat of drought imminent, sixteen year old Shawn is forced to leave home to support his family. Shawn takes a job on a steamboat, a childhood dream, but the unglamorous reality of a nomadic way of life is a rude awakening to this na?ve country boy. Shawn must summon all his strength and guile just to survive each day. Young Shawn will witness tragedy and disaster, suffer betrayal and despair, discover loyalty and romance during his travels. All of which transform this boy into a man. A gritty story with extremely human characters and unique settings.
