A compilation of the very earliest films from the first projections of moving images to the advent of the feature film, an area of film history often underseen, underappreciated and understudied. 40 films made in the early days of the medium are included in this collection. All films are mastered at correct speeds from excellent source material with new musical scores. Many of the films in this collection have been transferred to video from 35mm original prints (with a couple apparently taken from Library of Congress paper prints). The clarity on some of the films is striking. Films included in the collection: Series Photography 1877 - 1885 Homage to Eadweard Muybridge The Barber Shop (1894) by William K.L.
