Prog masters, YES' 7th studio album, 'Relayer,' first released in 1974, contained just 3 long pieces, including the ambitious 22 minute "Gates of Delirium." This seminal album has now been given the expanded remix/reissue experience, presented in 5.1 & new stereo high-resolution audio configuration. Mixed by Steven Wilson and released with the full approval of the band, 'Relayer,' features restored artwork approved by Roger Dean and new sleevenotes by Sid Smith to complete the package. This special release coincides with the 40th anniversary of the album’s original late 1974 appearance.This CD and DVD-Audio Edition features the original stereo master, new stereo master and 5.1 mixes. Also included on the DVD-A format is an 'Alternative Album' studio run through of the 'Relayer' album!
