In Berlin during the late 1930's, a young Paul Christopher struggles with a doomed love affair amid the rising Nazi tide. Before he escapes Germany, however he witnesses an SS officer commit an unspeakable atrocity. Later, at the height of the Cold War, the SS man resurfaces to destroy the last living witness to his crime.
