Work
In this book the author examines the different ways of 'talking' without a single word being spoken, by using only the hands, or by the expression in the face, or the attitude of the body. The author explains that 'no' can be said in multiple ways: for example, quickly lifting the eyebrows and looking the other way, lifting the head so as to push it backward ; putting the fingers under the chin and moving them upward ; looking at the object and holding out the hand toward it as if to stop it ; lifting the flat hand over the head and swinging it left and right ; turning the back to the speaker ; or slightly turning the upper part of the body.
