Alice, a 16‑year‑old visiting Roland‑Garros for the first time, attends a match on the Suzanne‑Lenglen court. There she meets an eccentric old man who claims to have been a student of Suzanne Lenglen and shows her a photograph of the legendary tennis star. Alice is stunned to realize how much she resembles her. As the man recounts Suzanne’s life, Alice is suddenly transported more than a century into the past, finding herself in the very skin of the champion.
